just what they did.

Cambuslang should have taken the lead 5 minutes after the restart.
Doyle broke down the wing and his driven cross was met by Wyatt but the Lang
striker somehow managed to get it up and over the bar from 3 yards out, a poor
miss by his standards.
The visitors were reduced to 10 men when McGuinness was ordered
off after a deliberate elbow on Hughes who required treatment. Minutes later
and Wyatt had yet another chance to break the deadlock but this time he fired
wide of goal.
The game ended in stalemate and went to the dreaded spot kicks and
Cambuslang were hoping to reproduce the previous rounds form when they
progressed via the penalties.
Coyle was first up for Lang but he had his kick well saved by the
keeper. Cumbernauld slotted theirs to go in front. Hughes for Lang blasted his
home to make it 1-1 then Cumbernauld missed. McGowan then saw his effort saved
by the Cumbernauld keeper. Cumbernauld then scored despite a brave attempt from
Fraser in Lang's goal. Next for the Lang was Kavanagh and he calmly slotted his
home. Cumbernauld then scored again to make it 3-2 to the visitors. Robertson
had to score to keep Lang in it but he never looked confident and his poor
effort was easily saved and sent Cumbernauld through to the next round 3-2 on
